Experimental project developed using the typography Fago to generate the whole alphabet, playing with visual effects through the backgrounds’ contractions, getting unexpected results. The shape and color possibilities are infinites, this is only a little sample. I hope you like it. I thank your comments and appreciations very much.
I made this illustration as a gift for my girlfriend and I wanted to try a different ilustration style, trying to give it more of a “cute” style rather than hard black lines style I tend to use. As an extra I printed the artwork without the digital text, frame it, and the I painted the type over the crystal, to make it look more 3D.
This is my work for Cabin, a private mobile network for families that lets you assign reminders and chat with your loved ones. I made 9 sitickers for the back to school theme pack. I characterized an Apple with her best friend, a worm that live inside her. I hope you fun and like it!
Regolo is a fun display typeface inspired by Cuisenaire Rods (teaching aids that provide a hands-on way to explore and learn mathematic concepts). Regolo is a playful typeface that is well suited for 2d animations and display settings such as titles or posters.
Noocity is a urban ecology brand, born in Porto, Portugal. The name came from the mix between the word Noo, meaning collective consciousness, and City, urban world. This brand develops tools that enables citizens to participate in the development of an urban ecology. Given that it’s a brand based on autonomy, ecosystem and urban agriculture, this project creates a branding that has that into account. The proposal was the all branding, but only the Logo was accepted.
"SHOW US YOUR TYPE is a project about two main things: type and cities. They started this project to provide a creative platform for designers to share their talents and explore cities from a different perspective." _
Okay, this is the perfect combo! Typography and cities. Even better when one of our favorite cities gets involved.
We started to make a little search about London, looking forward to find some elements to create a nice and modern typography. So, we looked up for Big Ben, The London Eye, The Tower Bridge, etc… Until we found the great element below, the underground sign.
It’s amazing and eye catching, the relationship between the colors and the shapes. Considering this, we started to transpose all the relationships and concepts that we were pulling out of them. The contrasts between the color and the grey background found in the city, the mix of cultures and perspectives, the different ways, etc.
To conclude, we caught the soul of this city and placed it on this poster, giving all the importance to the typography but don’t forgetting the background too.
Ice cream sweets & soup - a series of illustraions I have done that in truth bearly relate to their titles, infact they showcase an unintended almost sinister vibe depending on the lense you look through - make up your own mind
/Experimental project/ Ctenophora (commonly known as comb jellies) is a phylum of animals that live in marine waters worldwide. I have been ispired by these incredible creatures to ideate an imaginative series of jelly fishes living in the abysses. P.s. I haven’t use any 3D programs.
